Maria Heras is a photographer and visual artist based between Paris and Madrid.

Trained at GOBELINS in Paris and CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS in London, she specializes in capturing still images for film and television.

Her ability to capture compelling images without disrupting the production process has made her a trusted collaborator on major international productions, including Netflix, Amazon Prime and Movistar+.

Alongside her professional work, Maria develops her personal artistic practice. Her series JourneyScape received an Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards (IPA 2023) and an Editors' Pick from LensCulture. The series was exhibited at Les Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles and opens at 31 Rue de l'Université, 75007 Paris, 14–21 June 2026.

Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, her multicultural background enriches her artistic vision and allows her to connect with diverse audiences worldwide.
